Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicinal treatment that involves inserting thin needles into a patients skin at specific points on the body at various depths. There are 350 acupuncture points in the body. Inserting needles into these points with appropriate combinations is said to bring the energy flow of a patient back into proper balance.
